Troubleshooting:
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) inlet pressure delta is below
normal operating range for more than 10 seconds.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
DOC Inlet pressure sensor.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always on
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCEY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPCIAL DURATION:
2 seconds
DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL
2. CEL
3. SEL
ENGINE REACTION:
Derate 25%
VERIFICATION:
Run engine between 1200 to 1800 rpm with a load less than 10%.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Leaks or damage to the entire exhaust system.
2. Bent pins.
3. Spread pins.
4. Corroded pins.
5. Faulty DOC inlet pressure sensor.
6. Leaks, kinks, or blockages in the DOC pressure sensor tubes and elbows.
7. Parked regeneration needed.

DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) inlet pressure (5 psi) greater than
the calculated diesel particulate filter (DPF) outlet pressure more than 10 seconds.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
DOC Inlet Pressure sensor.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always on
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCEY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPCIAL DURATION:
Two seconds

ENGINE REACTION:

4. Restricted air filter.
5. Incorrect camshaft timing.

DESCRIPTION:
This fault sets if the diesel particulate filter (DPF) outlet temperature is 70°C (126°F) higher
compared to all aftertreatment temperature sensors after 8 hours cold soak.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
DPF Outlet Temperature versus all other ATS temperature sensors.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Engine off for more than 8 hours.
2. Battery voltage greater than 10.98 V.
3. Ignition on longer than 60 seconds.
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
1. Key on.
2. Engine off for more than 60 seconds.
EXECUTION FREQUENCEY:
Continuous when enabling conditions met.
TYPCIAL DURATION:
2 seconds
DASH LAMPS:
MIL
ENGINE REACTION:
None
VERIFICATION:
Ignition off/8 hours cold soak.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Spread pins.
2. Damaged pins.
3. Corroded pins.
